They have ground service and is cheaper than UPS. They have never failed a pick up or delivery after I switched to them 2 years ago. I have filed several complains with the Better Business Bureau against United Parcel Service i.e. UPS regarding customer service issues and general deliver issues. UPS has failed many of my deliveries in the past 7 years, including second day and overnight packages. Their customer service representatives are usually unwilling to help or inexperienced. In addition, they have failed to pick up the packages from me many times. I had to call in 5 days in row to fix a pick up issue. Apparently, the driver in my area just decided no to drop by for a week and all my packages were delayed. I have heard similar stories from other small business owners as well. If you have a small business, I suggest you don't go near UPS. They are expensive and yet unprofessional. If you are debating between FedEx or UPS, go with FedEx,. USPS is also coming out with a new small Flat Rate Box (about the size of small UPS security box, 9x6x3?) that will only be $4.80. While they've never been quite as good as UPS or Fedex in delivery options/guarantee, they have saved thousands (probably hundreds of thousands) over the years. Definitely sad to see them go. I can honestly say that I wished they had been a little more expensive so that their US domestic shipping could have turned enough profit to keep them going. I know the US regulations on airlines didn't help any. The huge gas increases seemed to be the final straw. We’ve been using DHL for about 6 years.
